The first Alpha of Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat has been made available for download. This is the first of four Alpha releases before the 10.10 beta in September.
As to be expected so close after the release of Lucid, this Alpha doesn’t differ massively from Ubuntu 10.04 on the surface. The changes it does contain are not considered stable and as such this Alpha is not recommended for installation on any computer that you require to be operable!
